Hemberg’s Law is an independent legal information project. We take the questions people actually ask, about deposits, tickets, custody, small claims, debt, and probate, and answer them in plain English instead of legalese.
Every guide is researched from primary sources like state statutes, court self help centers, and government websites, then written to be understood by a regular person at the kitchen table. Reader questions drive most of what we cover, so if there is something you are trying to figure out, send it in through our Contact page.
Hemberg is the friendly voice we write under. It is a pen name for this project, not a single named attorney, and we are not a law firm.
How we work
